Our staff acts as the boots on the ground for day-to-day ministry, and is comprised of men and women who take seriously their Ephesians 4:11-16 mandate to equip the body to live as disciples who love and obey Jesus. Feel free to email any of them by clicking their picture below.
I grew up in New Jersey before coming to Illinois to go to Wheaton College. I graduated from Wheaton in 1999 with a degree in Communications and Bible/Theology, and later got a Masters at Wheaton in Biblical Studies. But the most important thing that I found at Wheaton was my wife Carrie, and we were married in January 2000. Carrie and I have three children - Madeline, Jackson, and Emily, and a dog named Shea. I was blessed to work at Glen Ellyn Bible Church as the Youth Pastor for 5 years and as the Adult Ministries Pastor for another 5 years. In February 2010, we left Glen Ellyn Bible Church, moved our family to Downers Grove, and started Four Corners. This has been an amazing journey and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
In my free time, I love to play golf, watch sports, relax on our hammock, and most of all, play with our children. I look forward to getting to know you; send me an e-mail and we can set up a time to grab coffee and talk about life.
After graduating from Taylor University in 2002 with a Christian Education degree, my wife Katie and I got married and moved to El Paso, TX, where I served as a Student Ministries Pastor. In 2005, we moved to Illinois so I could pursue Seminary studies at Northern Seminary and minister at Glen Ellyn Bible Church. At GEBC, I served as both the High School Director and the Outreach Pastor before accepting the call to help start Four Corners Community Church.
Katie and I have five children, Haley, Maddie, Chloe, Aubrey, and Noah. We also have a pet fish named Sucky (Haley named him).
I love sports of all kinds. If it involves a ball or a goal or other people, I probably enjoy it. I especially love to be outdoors; hiking, mountain biking, kayaking are all things I wish I could do more often. I also love just spending time with my family. Our frequent walks to the neighborhood park ranks at the top of my favorites list.
What excites me about FCCC
I love the sense of community that is growing at FCCC. It is fun to be in a place where you are known, loved, and cared for. I’m also excited about the people that God is bringing to FCCC. I believe wholeheartedly that the gospel of Christ changes lives. It gives our lives hope, fulfillment, and meaning. It’s been exciting to see others come to discover this hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ. I look forward to see how God will continue to shape and grow our congregation in the years to come. If you are new to FCCC, I would love to get to know you!
My name is Janet Pack and I am the Children's Ministry Director here at FCCC. I live in the Western Suburbs (and have all my life) with my husband "Big Shawn" and two kids, Cassidy and "Little Shawn". The majority of our extended family live in this area as well, so we are blessed to have lots of time with grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Most of my free time these days are full of kid activities, but I do really enjoy a good massage or mani/pedi! :-)I spent the majority of my professional life as a Vice President of Retail Banking at a local community bank before deciding to stay home full time with my kiddos. This gave me the opportunity to serve in Children's Ministries and on the CM Leadership Team, and I fell in love! It has been an absolute privilege to have something I enjoy and love so dearly become my JOB!I love the genuine warmth and excitement that greeted me when I first walked into Four Corners six years ago. One of the most personally powerful lessons that I have learned since coming to FCCC is the amazing, transforming power of God's grace. And, it is available to EVERYONE!!FCCC has been such a blessing to me and me family. And I hope it is to your family, too. I would love to meet and talk with you more!!
I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, and made my way to the city of Chicago to attend the Moody Bible Institute to major in youth ministry. I lived on campus for half the time I was there, and then commuted into the city after I got married to my wonderful husband, Jeremy, in June of 2013. I graduated with my degree in May of 2015 and am ready to apply all that I have learned being the student ministries director!
Jeremy and I spend a lot of time watching movies; it's one of our favorite things to do. I have also gone to the zoo more times since I've been married than when I was a child. I am always up for an adventure, and I think I will experience many adventures being in youth ministry!
Four Corners has been a blessing to my husband and I since we started attending. The community strives to understand the Gospel and to be like Jesus, and I have learned so much since being a part of it. It is so apparent that community is valued highly, and the community I am privileged to be a part of is an overwhelming blessing. I am looking forward to supporting parents and working with students to help them understand who Jesus is and what it means to be a disciple.
I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and my husband, Mark, grew up in the Cleveland area. We've been married for almost 20 years. We have two awesome boys, Nicholas 14, and Douglas 11. We live in Downers Grove and just love our town! We enjoy going to car shows, monster truck shows, and going to NASCAR races! And of course, we love FCCC! It was a dream come true when we first learned of FCCC planting a church right in our area! Our church has such a strong sense of community. I so love that! We love how warm and geniune everyone is and we just adore our neighborhood group! It is also such a blessing to watch our boys grow and be part of this church family! Mark is the Director of Neighborhood Groups and I am on staff as Administrative Assistant. It is both an honor and a blessing to work with such amazing people at FCCC!
